Playhouse Plans - How Much Fun Could Your Kids Have With This Easy Woodworking Project?

Today, even from a young age, children are subjected to all the latest crazes, many of which mean they spend more time in doors, how would you like it if they wanted to spend more time outdoors?

Remember when you were young, games consoles weren't even invented (well they weren't when I was a child), children played all sorts of games outdoors, they used their imagination to conjure up all manner of exciting things to do.

A playhouse in one form or another could be anything from a hideaway, somewhere to play cowboys and Indians, have a tea party for little friends, it could become the cockpit of an airplane, an imaginary car, a truck, a fire engine or spaceship. Somewhere just to play house and do all the things they watch you do in your house.

Children love places to crawl in and out of, they love their own space, a playhouse can be so many things, things we have forgotten about as our imagination may not be as active as it once was.

How would you like to wake up your imagination by letting your children or grandchildren tell you about how much fun they had today in their playhouse and exactly what it had become. If you tell your children the playhouse is a magic place, that it can transform into whatever they want it to be, you will be amazed with the things they dream up.

I know children sometimes get more fun out of the box that something came in than with whatever was in the box, so they don't need a playhouse to be particularly fancy, it just needs to be safe.

Playhouses don't need to be expensive either, with plans for a playhouse, a few basic tools, some timber and fixings from the local hardware store you can make your own. And you will have as much fun building it as your children will playing in it.
