An outdoor playhouse is fun for kids, and gives them a chance to use their creativity. These playhouses come in many different models and sizes. Before you shop for your playhouse, you'll most likely want to decide what size you want it to be. You, and perhaps your child, can decide on the style, and what you want to put in it. Your choice of styles includes, but is not limited to, Victorian, Cape Cod, Gingerbread, log cabin, or even a firehouse, caboose, or church.
You may also want to consider whether or not to put a picket fence or any other type of fence around it or partially around it. There is also an option of getting a playhouse with a front porch. Some of the playhouses have dormers, and some are one floor. If you buy one with a second floor, you may want to get one with a ladder and/or slide to get up and down.
There is also the job of deciding what type and how much furniture you want to put inside this playhouse. Some have play kitchens, bedrooms, and/or living rooms. There are different types of roofs and windows available. You may want curtains or blinds for the windows, and/or perhaps rugs for inside. Some have more than one door, and most have more than one window. Some of these playhouses come with flower boxes. You may want to add your own flowers, and maybe a rocker for on the front porch.
